we'd like to appologise to proven world friendly energy for an out of date link on these pages, it has now been updated, we thought we'd gotten 'em all but.. well never mind. Please note that cleanroom has no connection with proven world friendly energy, apart from being invited to pitch for their website four or five years ago. Unfortunately it seems that some of the pitch pages were left online and one could be found via a link from alta vista - we have responded to this imediately and we are sure that they have been removed from all our public servers, it is worth noting that the rogue link was not hosted by demon.. We appologise to Proven world frindly energy for any inconvenience caused. And would request you contact us forthwith if you are aware of any problems with our site (apart from the fact that it is four years out of date!!!).

Your site at www.cleanroom.co.uk is STILL coming up in Altavista searches.

Because you have only put the redirect to our own site on the links to the pages people can still go direct to the pages as listed in the search engines and see your crappy pages.

I have now faxed ABUSE at DEMON and instructed them to remove the Proven bit from your site.

For your information the official web pages for Proven are now at www.provenenergy.com so the links on the front end of your site are wrong.

We have had people complaining about he cleanroom site in the last couple of weeks and my managing director is not happy.

Get it together, DO WHAT WE REQUESTED YEARS AGO AND REMOVE THESE PAGES OR DEMON WILL DO IT FOR YOU Regards Brendan

Dear Brendan,

I don't like the tone of your email. Perhaps you recall asking me to put a redirect from my old pages to your new site, I did this as you may remember with good humor.

I am certain that there are not, and were not at your time of writing any proven pages on Demon's server, I'm sure if you press them they can confirm this.

I would like an apology in writing from you immediately, with a copy faxed to Demon. I will accept this suitable recompense for your public slur.

I in turn apologise to you for any inconvenience caused and assure you that we have made every effort to satisfy your requests. I would also like to remind you that your contact was with mr martin ross, who you asked to build a web site (I was told), I did my very best to help people who I felt deserved assistance, and an early internet presence. The Netscape 1.1 site produced for you was perfectly excellent for its day, which I believe you decided not to develop. In my opinion, if this site had been developed it would now be a world class resource and marketing area for your products.

Unless you can find any further rogue pages knocking around I consider this matter now closed.
