Educated, both briefly, at Falmouth School of Art and the London College of Furniture, I have been experimenting in musical instruments for the last five years.

My work explores sculptural and acoustic ideas within the confines of the mechanical tensions and compatability to the player of musical instruments using methods of construction from before and after the age of stagnation in violin design, called for by new methods of playing, amplifying and appreciating music and its' creation.
