say "Let bin workers do Clarke's job"

Bin workers should be running the country and finance ministers should be emptying bins according to The Economist magazine. It has revealed the result of a questionnaire sent out in 1984 to four ex finance ministers, four chairs of multinational firms, four Oxford University economics students on the one hand and four bin workers on the other. They were all asked to predict the state of the economy in four years.

The bin workers came top in predicting the price of oil and the exchange rate of the pound against the dollar and tied in overall first place with the company directors.
