Additonal Theatre Work

The course included many visiting directors and companies, such as
Joan Mills (ex-Cardiff Laboratory Theatre) and IOU Theatre Company
as well as the opportunity to devise mixed-media work from scratch:
writing, directing and performing
I were also given opportunities to work with local performers,
such as Nuts and Bolts Children's festival and to be seconded to the
Churchill Theatre, Bromley.

Apart from performing I gained experience lighting, crewing, stage
management,props, stage design, box office, FOH, publicity design
and distribution.
These skills have enabled me to support some of the drama
productions I have more recently been involved in (including 'Lonely
Heart', 'Line of Descent' and 'A Wheelie bin Ate My Sister!').

I have also worked for BBC radio for six years.
I have acquired production experience with a good understanding of
the reach and power of the medium.
