The central character, Stella, is a "new kid on the block" and feels
isolated and unconfident - experiencing a world where materials,
objects and even people are often regarded as worthless and
"rubbished".
She embarks upon a remarkable dream like journey
through the zany world of "Woz". Here she is called upon to be
brave and assertive as she encounters the devious Sebastian
Sylvester Slither and the bumbling bureaucratic Woz Bods.
Through her adventures Stella comes to discover her own self
worth and shows that objects around us can be re-used and
recycled and their inherent value recognised. With the help of her
friend Scruffy, Stella comes to realise that she possesses some real
treasure...."Remember to value whatever you've got. You'll never
know when something that seems useless will become useful..."
