Zinc
The form of zinc used in the partypacks is zinc chelate. The
chelated form of zinc presents zinc bonded to amino acids in a
compound called a chelate. In this form the zinc is more readily
absorbed.
The principle role of any trace element is that of promoting the
catalytic action of enzymes. Zinc is a trace element that is
involved in hundreds of metabolic reactions and is also an
active co-factor (helps another nutrient work more effectively)
to more than eighty enzymes in the body. 20% of the zinc in our
bodies is present in the skin where it plays a role in
maintaining the complexion. Zinc works best with vitamin A,
calcium and phosphorus.
